Zola is seeking a Summer E-Commerce Manager who will help to grow our customer base and increase the lifetime value of both our customer sets: engaged couples and their wedding guests.
As one of our summer interns, you’ll work closely with Zola’s senior leadership team on a daily basis. Zola is growing fast, and you will have the opportunity to make an immediate, measurable impact on our business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role will be to work cross functionally on a project that is core to our 2019 growth plan. Our business is evolving too fast to know exactly what you’ll do four months from now, but it will almost certainly include understanding our customer needs, analyzing data, and proposing and product-managing site improvements based on your analysis. You’ll partner closely with our marketing, product, tech, and ops teams, as well as senior leadership, and will help bring the voice of our customer into every discussion. Our ideal candidate is creative, scrappy, data-oriented, and customer-obsessed.
Sample project topics could include:
Conversion Optimization – Determine areas for improvement in the customer funnel and identify marketing tactics or product changes to increase customer retention and drive sales.
Price Perception – Analyze current pricing position through focus groups and competitive research. Determine opportunities to adapt pricing perception through personalization or other tactics.
Growth – Identify opportunities to increase market share through organic growth, such as a referral program or buzz-worthy marketing campaign.
