Vida Health is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial and operational processes. This role will perform core accounting functions such as bank reconciliations, revenue validation and contribute to revenue cycle activities, including claim submission, tracking and reporting.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong analytical skills and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, non-traditional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly billing operations including claims reconciliation, account reconciliation and revenue review and validation.
- Contribute to the revenue cycle process, including claims submission, QA, payment posting and AR follow-up.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients; participating in onboarding calls, monthly check-ins and responding to billing questions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Data and Client Success teams on RFPs, internal process updates and issue resolution.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field. OR equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field, with exposure to revenue cycle operations such as medical claims preferred.
- Prior experience using NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred.
- Advanced Excel/Google Suite skills (e.g., pivot tables,VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker, NetSuite, Candid or similar systems.
- Understanding of general healthcare reimbursement principles.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direction.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for high-quality work.
- Effective communicator with experience engaging internally and externally.
Preferred:
- Experience with digital health billing models.
- Experience in venture-backed or high-growth companies.
- Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Operations, Data, Client Success).
