You are:

  • Experienced with evaluating new products, evaluating the opportunity, and making recommendations to leaders to build, buy, or do not pursue
  • Capable of utilizing systems thinking to solve problems at scale, both strategically and tactically
  • Self-motivated, a natural team leader, collaborator, and problem-solver.
  • A roll-up your sleeves, let’s get down to business type
  • Authorized to work in the United States and a resident in a United States time zone
  • Comfortable with travel for events and shows as needed
  • Someone who knows when, who, and how to ask for help
What you have:
  • 7+ combined years of experience in payments, product management, and leading teams.
  • A passion for communicating and presenting well to team members across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to set priorities for teams across many dimensions
  • The ability to lead, execute, and communicate impactful research and results in a fast-paced, early stage product development process
  • Relentless focus on customers and the value proposition of a product that addresses  their needs and is able to become a profitable product/investment
  • Proven ability to function with confidence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proven ability work seamlessly in a remote dispersed team environment
  • Proven ability to align peers, product managers, and other partners around a common vision
  • Proven ability to lead from within a product team and support as a servant-leader
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver on our goal 
A day in the live as our Product Manager for new product development may include:
  • Partner with the CEO and other senior leaders to evaluate new product ideas
  • Leading and coaching a team of product managers that are accountable for new and enhanced capabilities through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
  • Creating and effectively championing a data-driven and customer-led product vision and strategy for Tilled’s PayFac as a Service offering that reflects the broader customer outcomes that we want to achieve, while also achieving business results.
  • Establishing processes and structures that enable and empower the team to create innovative solutions
  • Setting a high bar for execution and excellence of your products - driving your teams to be scrappy, solve problems, and take an entrepreneurial approach to deliver against business outcomes and create a delightful user experience
  • Advocating for the importance of a strong product culture and the power of a highly motivated product team
  • Maintaining the Tilled product roadmap and leading prioritization to align key stakeholders for both short and long term focuses
  • Ensuring that new and enhanced capabilities are valuable, viable, usable and feasible
  • Set cadence for longer planning cycles that engages stakeholders to maximize effectiveness
  • Effectively communicating strategies & trade-offs to senior leaders
  • Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key individual stakeholders and partnering with teams across Tilled
  • Overseeing the training and development of employees directly and indirectly
  • Managing and making effective staffing decisions
  • Regularly reviewing and reporting metrics while proactively seeking out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility.
  • Evaluate vendors and partners to ensure they are the right fit for Tilled
  • Research the Opportunity, TAM, Pricing, Market Positioning, and Customer fit to generate Business Cases and recommendations
