The Opportunity

The Sr. Director, Sales will play a significant role in the commercial success of the company. Beyond acquiring new logos to achieve XP Health's growth and financial objectives, the person in this role will be a key strategic partner to the business in developing new products, a deeper understanding of our GTM, and in building out the sales playbook.

You will report directly to the VP of Sales. The company is based in San Carlos, CA and frequent travel to HQ is expected. You will be suited for this role if you have a seasoned track record of sales success with companies in a growth stage, but more importantly, if you have a desire to expand your skill set with new challenges.

What you'll work on:

  • Generate and grow new employer interest with 500 - 7,500 benefit-eligible employees (will require hands-on prospecting and cold outreach)
  • Understand each customer's unique needs, business drivers and strategic growth plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to break new ground on plan design as needed, implement and sell new products, and holistically drive commercial success
  • Build the playbook - in collaboration with team members and leadership, continue to cement learnings and actively solve for blockers in the customer journey
  • Document all activity in the CRM to contribute to real-time pipeline/forecast accuracy

What you'll need:

  • The proven ability to:
    • Actively learn through experimentation, successes, and failures
    • Operate effectively even through uncertainty or lack of clarity
    • Secure and deploy internal resources effectively and efficiently
  • The full set of communication and consultative selling skills needed to successfully navigate the customer journey through discovery, education, stakeholder mapping, negotiation, solution design, and sale
Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience of sales experience with innovative benefits, SaaS, or healthcare technology

CA Pay Range

$125,000—$145,000 USD
