About Savvy Wealth:
Wealth management is a $545 billion industry in the US, yet remains archaic and inefficient with low technology penetration. 75% of financial advisors don’t offer digital communication beyond email, and 62% still build financial plans manually in Excel. This leads to a poor client experience and results in financial advisors spending over 70% of their time on non-client facing, manual work.
Savvy is changing that. We’re building the most advisor-centric platform in wealth management: a digital-first solution that modernizes human financial advice. Advisors who partner with Savvy tap into AI-powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back office workflows to scale faster and spend more time with clients.
We’ve raised over $105M to date from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Mark Casady (former LPL Financial CEO), and other top-tier investors. Our team is made up of repeat founders and operators who’ve helped build Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, $200B+ RIAs, and more.
Savvy is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory, having established strong product-market fit in providing a modern platform to financial advisors. We’ve surpassed $2.2 billion in AUM in less than three years, grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, and are entering the next phase of the company which involves rapid expansion of our product offering and continued revenue growth. Come help us scale!
The Role:
This is a role that sits at the heart of Savvy’s revenue engine. You will own the systems, workflows, and calculations that determine how our sales team is paid, how advisor deals are structured and contracted, and how payouts are calculated and delivered accurately, on time, and at scale.
In this role you will design systems that translate complex commercial agreements into structured, auditable data , build calculators to empower our sellers, and streamline our contracting motion so deals move quickly without sacrificing margin or compliance. You will partner with Growth Leadership, Finance, and Legal to design a scalable commercial operating model that will help Savvy scale from 100+ advisors to 1,000+ advisors.
The bar is high. You should have a zero-defect mindset and get excited about solving for all edge cases. You should have exceptional organization and the analytical horsepower to design robust spreadsheets and tools. Your work will be felt by every sales team member and will be critical to helping Savvy scale.
What you’ll do:
-
Compensation Operations:
Run the full comp cycle: own performance tracking, plan rule maintenance, auditable calculations, and quarter-end close.
Build and maintain self-serve comp calculators so SGMs/SGAs can track attainment and run what-if scenarios
Publish comms to reps and managers; clearly explain results, resolve inquiries , and deliver payroll-ready outputs on time.
Coordinate with Finance to track actual performance against plan to recommend any changes to future comp plans.
-
Pricing & Contracting:
Evolve Savvy’s pricing strategy & calculator to support complex deal frameworks
Design a data structure and automations into the calculator to allow for streamlined operations and advanced analytics
Operate a lightweight deal-desk rhythm: review exceptions, advise structure, ensure approvals, and track decisions.
Generate and manage contracts (templating + redlines) in our contracting tool (PandaDoc); ensure version control and repository hygiene.
Partner with Legal to keep multiple templates up-to-date; and translate approved terms into queryable data structure
-
Advisor Payouts:
Design the contract clause schema (fields/rules) and a scalable calculation engine to compute advisor splits each quarter in partnership with Finance.
Build the workflow from Finance revenue inputs → contract logic → payout outputs with controls, logs, and reconciliation.
Strategically Identify performance/accuracy risks, edge cases, and plan phased hardening.
-
Systems, Analytics, and Scale:
Be the Spreadsheet/SQL/AI power user who turns ambiguous problems into stable tools (Claude + Vercel, Sheets/Excel , SQL/BigQuery).
Implement compensation tracking software for the Growth organization
Partner with RevOps, Operations, and Finance on CPQ, contract automation, and developing compensation plans
Maintain clear documentation (definitions, data contracts, runbooks) so processes survive growth and handoffs.
Must have:
You have 5–8+ years in Sales Ops/Revenue Ops/Deal Desk/Finance Ops with ownership of comp calculations and pricing.
You’re obsessive about accuracy: you build complex models with checks, audits, and back-tests. You’re unafraid when a Finance team member enters your Google Sheet.
You’re highly organized: you manage competing deadlines, track requests, and keep stakeholders informed
You’re very analytical: advanced spreadsheets (array formulas, index/match/xlookup, error handling), comfort with SQL; you use AI to speed up modeling, QA, and documentation (through apps, python scripts, or google app scripts).
You’re self-driven: you proactively identify process debt, fix root causes, and improve underlying architecture without waiting for direction
You communicate clearly with Sales, Finance, and Legal
You’re comfortable navigating a Deal Desk and balancing the needs of the business with what it takes to get the deal done.
You take pride in building tools sellers actually use (clear UX, scenario support, plain-English explanations).
Nice to have:
Have integrated or built a custom CPQ
Experience with comp platforms (e.g. Spiff or Quotapath) and developing compensation plans
Familiarity with revenue share models
Comfort translating legal and commercial clauses into calculation logic
Exposure to wealth/RIAs or other highly regulated industries; appreciation for compliance and audit requirements.
