About Savvy Wealth:

Wealth management is a $545 billion industry in the US, yet remains archaic and inefficient with low technology penetration. 75% of financial advisors don’t offer digital communication beyond email, and 62% still build financial plans manually in Excel. This leads to a poor client experience and results in financial advisors spending over 70% of their time on non-client facing, manual work.

Savvy is changing that. We’re building the most advisor-centric platform in wealth management: a digital-first solution that modernizes human financial advice. Advisors who partner with Savvy tap into AI-powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back office workflows to scale faster and spend more time with clients.

We’ve raised over $105M to date from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Mark Casady (former LPL Financial CEO), and other top-tier investors. Our team is made up of repeat founders and operators who’ve helped build Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, $200B+ RIAs, and more.

Savvy is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory, having established strong product-market fit in providing a modern platform to financial advisors. We’ve surpassed $2.2 billion in AUM in less than three years, grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, and are entering the next phase of the company which involves rapid expansion of our product offering and continued revenue growth. Come help us scale!

The Role:

The Senior Manager, Finance Data & AI, will be a pivotal role focused exclusively on uncovering and implementing AI and automation solutions across the Finance organization. This individual will conduct thorough research & discovery of AI use in finance; they will architect and own the automation infrastructure that reports Savvy’s revenue, billing, cash flow, and financial reporting.

As an individual contributor, this person will sit at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Operations — designing AI workflows, developing dashboards, eliminating reconciliation risk, and ensuring we have complete visibility into what we invoice, what we collect, and how revenue flows through the business. If you are a tinkerer who is passionate about AI & finance, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

Leverage AI to Build Tools

  • Identify and explore potential AI and automation applications that reduce manual effort and increase reliability of AR and cash reconciliation workflows, prioritize opportunities to support rapid AUM and advisor growth.

  • Develop advanced models, scripts, and workflows (AI-enabled workflows, scripting tools, SQL, Google Sheets).

  • Identify structural weaknesses in current workflows and proactively redesign them.

  • Create structured intake and prioritization frameworks for Finance data requests.

  • Operate with extreme precision and attention to detail in high-stakes financial environments; ensure documentation, controls, and auditability across all finance data systems.

Own Finance Data & Our Data Partnership

  • Serve as the primary Finance counterpart to our Data team, collaborate with leaders from different departments to secure alignment for reporting.

  • Drive the execution to completion, from planning, scoping + defining, to deployment.

  • Use AI to build reporting infrastructure for revenue, AR aging, cash flow, and collections cycle time that spans multiple data-sources (custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity), Salesforce, ERP, and internal systems).

  • Create end-to-end visibility from invoice → collection → product → revenue recognition.

You might be a good fit if:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Finance, Finance Operations, RevOps, BizOps, or a highly analytical function within a fintech. Experience in a startup and/or with AI implementation is highly desirable.

  • You feel constrained in your current role, limited by red-tape and approvals instead of testing new processes and automations that push the bounds of what is possible.

  • Strong knowledge of AI and data infrastructure frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

  • Fluent in scripting (e.g., Python), SQL and advanced Excel/Sheets.

  • You have experience stitching data across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, payment platforms, internal databases).

  • You’ve built or significantly improved financial reporting, reconciliation, or revenue data systems.

  • You are deeply analytical and comfortable working with large, complex datasets.

  • You have exceptional attention to detail and operate with precision in financial environments where accuracy is critical.

  • You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.

  • You are self-directed and proactively identify structural problems before being asked to solve them.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in wealth management, fintech, or custodial billing environments

  • Familiarity with Rillet, Campfire, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Salesforce, or financial system migrations

  • Experience building data models that support board-level or investor reporting

  • Experience supporting audit processes or designing financial controls

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Unlimited PTO + paid company holidays

  • Access to holistic medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Company 401(k), Commuter, and HSA/FSA plans

  • NYC office in the heart of Manhattan

  • Lunch and snacks provided in the office

  • Access to virtual mental health care (Spring Health), vision related benefits (XP Health), and health concierge (Rightway) to help you find the right care

  • Access to counseling for stress management, dependent care, nutrition, fitness, legal, and financial issues (Guardian WorkLifeMatters EAP)

Compensation Range: $170K - $185K
